How To Add Escape From Tarkov To Steam Library

Escape From Tarkov has become one of the most popular first-person shooter games in recent years, known for its intense gameplay and high level of realism. If you're new to the game, you might be wondering how to add it to your Steam library. In this article, we'll walk you through the steps to add Escape From Tarkov to your Steam library, so you can easily launch the game and join in on the action. We'll cover everything from creating a Steam account to finding the game on the platform and provide tips on optimizing your gaming experience.

Add a Non-Steam Game to your Library

Open your Steam library, select Add a game at the bottom of the window, and then click Add a non-steam game. Select Browse if you can’t find Escape from Tarkov in this program list. In your file explorer, navigate to the drive where you saved the game on Battlestate Games > EFT > and select the EscapeFromTarkov.exe application in the list of files with the smallest file size.

After adding the game, click Add selected programs, and then you can find it in your game library. You can then launch the game from here if you want to. To change the display name, right-click the application and navigate to Properties. Under Manage, you can remove this game from your library again.
